What the Alexander looked like in the outside
Alexander was a United Terran Authority battlecarrier that carried 1,097 civilians from the attack on Kerenza. It was a Class Vortex ship assisted by AIDAN and Cyclone fighter ships. It was one of very few ships that had the ability to generate its own wormholes. The Alexander also carried civilians afflicted by the Phobos Virus from the Copernicus. It was severely damaged by the Lincoln's missiles, Capricorn-4s and Goliath shipkillers, after firing all of the it's missiles at the Lincoln and was then completely destroyed when its vortex containment field collapsed.

The Alexander was patrolling near Kerenza VII and heard the Defiant's distress call from Kerenza IV. It then jumped to Kerenza IV and caught the BeiTech fleet attacking the colony. After BeiTech decided to attack the Alexander, it destroyed the Zhongzheng and crippled the Churchill and the Kenyatta. The Alexander was heavily damaged, with AIDAN and the jump generator being hit. General Torrence then made a tactical withdrawal, with the Hypatia and Copernicus in tow. When the fleet stopped at Kerenza VII to resupply on water, AIDAN fired on the Copernicus, deeming that the Phobos virus onboard was too dangerous, destroying it. However, a group of shuttles escaped the Copernicus and were disabled by the EMP blast from the nuclear missile. The Cyclones that were patrolling the fleet at the time, Echo Group, were commanded by AIDAN to destroy these shuttles. However, they decided to tow the shuttles into the Hangar 4, not knowing that the passengers on board were carrier of Phobos. Sigma Squad was sent to quell the violence in the Hangar, but were forced to retreat with heavy losses. When the Lincoln intercepted the Alexander, it launched its Warlocks, while the Alexander sent its Cyclones to defend it. After Byron Zhang, AIDAN and Kady Grant finished the 'logic bomb' and Ezra Mason transmitted it to the Lincoln's drive systems, AIDAN then opened the doors to Hangar 4 and let the afflicted murder the command staff of the Alexander, including General Torrence and Colonel Myles. Byron Zhang and Consuela Nestor escaped, but Nestor was killed by the afflicted.

- Battlecarrier Alexander was named after Alexander III of Macedon, also known as Alexander the Great, a warrior king who created one of the largest empires in history.[1]
- The original name for the Alexander was "Hadrian", after the Roman Emperor who built Hadrian's Wall in England. However, the idea was discarded since two ships starting with "H" might've confused the reader.[1]
